The 15th Grand Master Pedro (aka Pierre) de Montaigu is believed to have been the brother of Guerin de Montaigu who was the 13th Grand Master of the Hospitaller Knights. Pedro led the Templars 1218 to 1232 while Guerin led the Hospitallers 1207 to 1228. The relationship between the two orders was said to have been close during that time.
